Lisa Fletcher’s journey into goldsmithing began in an unexpected place — at a fly-tying bench. What started as a creative favor for a friend who loved fly fishing quickly turned into a fascination with fine detail, precision, and the art of working with her hands. That curiosity led her to Vancouver, where she immersed herself in a goldsmithing intensive and discovered a lifelong passion for transforming raw materials into pieces of meaning and beauty.
After returning home to the rugged coastline of Tofino, Lisa began selling her handcrafted jewelry at local markets and pop-ups before opening her own studio and storefront inside The Factory — a creative hub that celebrates craft, connection, and community.
Previously a biologist, Tofino’s wild landscape — the rhythm of the tides, the ever-changing skies, the quiet power of the Pacific — continues to shape her work. Each piece carries a sense of place, infused with the organic textures and natural forms that inspire her every day.

For over a decade, Lisa has built relationships with ethical suppliers who share her commitment to integrity and sustainability. She works exclusively with recycled Canadian gold and silver, and carefully selects responsibly sourced stones to ensure her creations honor both the environment and the people behind the materials.
Lisa’s love for the creative process runs deep — from sketching new designs to the slow, meditative rhythm of shaping, soldering, and setting. Her work is rooted in connection: to craft, to nature, and to the stories her jewelry comes to represent.
Each piece is a reflection of her belief that jewelry should be worn, loved, and lived in — a quiet reminder of the moments, people, and places that shape who we are.
Hailey | Goldsmith's Apprentice & Production Manager
Hailey came to goldsmithing the way most meaningful things arrive — gradually, then all at once. A long-held love of handmade objects and the quiet satisfaction of working with her hands brought her to the bench, where she's now training as an Apprentice Goldsmith under the makers at LF Jewellery.
At The Factory, she's learning the full arc of the craft: fabrication, finishing, and the kind of detail work that can't be rushed or replicated. She's drawn to the fact that every piece that leaves the studio carries the mark of real hands and real intention, something she believes matters more than ever.
Her creative life extends beyond the bench. With a background in performance, writing, and design, Hailey brings a layered sensibility to everything she makes and does. In jewellery, she's found a place where all of it converges: beauty, precision, and the enduring value of something made with care.
Tori | E-Commerce Manager
With a fondness for jewels (particularly diamonds!) for as long as she remembers, Tori’s early fascination with sparkle and detail naturally led her to LF Jewellery, where she now works as our E-Commerce Manager.
From our small studio in Tofino, Tori cares for the day-to-day rhythm of the online shop — managing product listings, inventory, and orders, and tending to the behind-the-scenes details that help keep everything running smoothly. She also handles customer care, ensuring every question, request, and order is met with thoughtfulness and clarity.
Tori loves working alongside LF Jewellery’s small team of makers and feels continually inspired by her colleagues’ craftsmanship. Connected to Tofino’s wild landscape and close-knit community, she’s proud to play a part in bringing each piece from our coastal studio to our customers, with the same care and intention it was made with.
